The characters live in a yellow trailer with Marcella and her family of animals. Patty is a yellow Lab, and Annabel is a Springer spaniel. Orion is an orange cat and is the main character in the book Orion the Miracle Kitty. Tiger Lily is a champagne-colored cat and is deemed the queen of the house.
 
 The author has completed several sets of classes from respected teachers in their field of work and representing many years of experience. The author appreciated the different perspectives and expertise the teachers gave her. These books are a way of sharing what she has learned and uses in her daily life.
 
The author, Marcella Lansdowne, is an interesting person who grew up in California, worked on a ranch in Oklahoma, owned a franchise in Colorado, and then went on to become an aerospace engineer in Arizona. She has three children and four grandchildren and is still working in aerospace and now writing books.  Marcella searches for the answers to life and enjoys the beauty that nature provides to us each day.
